Speaker Biography
Professor Marian Ursu is Director of Digital Creativity Labs, a world-centre of excellence for impact driven research in games, interactive media and the rich space where they converge . Marian is also Head of Interactive Media in the Department of Theatre, Film, TV and Interactive Media at the University of York, and Lead R&D Co-Director at XR Stories.
Marian worked on the development of Creative Computing as a new area of research and teaching and now leads multi and interdisciplinary research in computer Sciences and Artificial Intelligence within creative industries, including film, television, theatre, art and design.
