Speaker Biography
Kate Welham is a music journalist turned digital producer, through a series of unexpected incidents. Kate leads on Live Cinema UK’s immersion activity, researching immersive screens and fulldome venues for cultural use.
Formerly working only in flat video, Kate has been bitten by the 360 bug now and makes virtual reality videos for Head Holiday. To date this has included jumping in and out of animal enclosures, scaling cliffs at dawn, descending into caves, swimming in lakes, and navigating European cities via electric scooter, all with a 360 degree camera on or around her person.
