Speaker Biography
Founder and CEO of Near-Life, Mike has extensive experience in media and technology. Beginning his career in digital content, he has also worked in film and television: creating internationally acclaimed feature documentaries for the likes of BBC, ESPN and PBS.
Near-Life was established 5 years ago around an NGO learning project, Mission Ready, funded through the United States Aid department and the UK Government the project was showcased at the UN World Humanitarian Summit. Near-Life has been recognised for ‘Excellence in Learning Design’ at the Learning and Technology Awards – Europe’s top EdTech awards. The company’s recent work with the WHO pushes the boundaries of VR, learning and gamification.
