Florian Block is a Reader / Senior Researcher at the University of York, specialising in applying interactive data visualisation and machine learning to the creative industries. He has translated research into products that have been used by over 26 million people. He is R&D Director of Weavr.tv, the largest government-funded project in esports innovation, focusing on leveraging immersive technologies and AI to transform how the audiences of the future experiences live esports and traditional sports.
