Speaker Biography

I’ve tried multiple hats in my attempts to pick a career so far, but it turns out I just don’t suit hats. One constant has been “Haptics”, a technology and academic discipline that tries to give a tangible connection to the digital world through touch based computer interfaces.

I’ve worked with haptics and VR in academic and commercial settings since 2004-ish, often at the interface between healthcare and simulation, though the creative arts promise some of the most exciting future applications. I’ve run out of words, but I also like cats.
