Sol Rogers<\/p>\n

An expert on emerging technology, Sol Rogers helps businesses navigate the new immersive web and all the opportunities that come with it.<\/p>\n

As the Global Director of Innovation at Magnopus, he\u2019s an adviser to startups, nonprofits and governments\u2014working together to unlock new possibilities in the physical-meets-digital space.<\/p>\n

Previously, he founded REWIND, the UK\u2019s leading immersive spatial design and innovation agency delivering projects for The BBC, Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, and HBO. As CEO, he led the company to successful acquisition by Magnopus in 2021\u2014forming a global team of world-class talent, tech and expertise set to shape the future of immersive experiences.<\/p>\n

Before REWIND, Sol was a senior university lecturer for 15 years in digital animation, VFX and emerging technology. He taught more than 1,300 students, wrote undergraduate and Masters degrees, and supervised PHDs during his tenure.<\/p>\n

As well as being a judge for the BIMA Awards, The Raindance VR Awards and The Rookies, Sol remains an evangelist and international keynote speaker on emerging technologies in the metaverse.<\/p>\n

Sol is also Chairman of BAFTA’s Immersive Entertainment Advisory Group, and Chairman of Immerse UK\u2014the first nationwide network for immersive companies working to make the UK the global leader in immersive technologies. <\/p><\/p>
