Speaker Biography
As the Head of Global Innovation at the RSA Shirin is focused on designing and delivering programs which explores systemic regenration and rebalance. She is particularly interested in creating spaces to discover and support new relationships between individuals, institutions and communities who are working to build a future society that finds inspiration and strength in diversity of experience and opinion. Another area of interest is in using her expertise in research, design thinking and systems thinking to help innovators expand their sphere of influence and build their capabilities to be social entrepreneurs.
Shirin has led numerous social impact accelerator programmes at the RSA and is currently leading on a global enquiry in partnership with UNBOXED, which explores the potential of collective imagination and creative collaboration in shaping better futures for people and planet. She has worked with many diverse partners including Autodesk, Mastercard, NESTA and NSPCC.
Previous roles have included being a Senior Consultant for a bespoke business intelligence company leading their data communications approach and working in the investment banking sector.
