Millennium Mills: Feeding Edwardian London<\/h1><\/div>

Narrative-story-telling approaches and data\nvisualizations allows users to see the long-distance trade that helped feed London\u2019s growing population of 7 million people by 1910<\/h3>

Feeding Edwardian London uses narrative-story-telling approaches and data visualisations to allow the users to see the long-distance trade that helped feed London\u2019s growing population of 7 million people by 1910. We have built a large-scale, visceral and engaging digital gallery experience that will show visitors to the Royal Docks how this site was connected in a network of globalisation and colonialism that provided the growing supply of wheat flour to feed the people living in Greater London during the first decades of the twentieth century. Our project is about building a “Museum Without Walls” a model where audiences can jump back in time using virtual reality technologies to visualise historical connections and processes that remain relevant even today. <\/p>\n

The project is delivered in VR and is composed of a multi-user 5 room digital gallery experience and a 360 VR \u201cMagic Lantern Show\u201d.<\/p><\/p><\/div>
