Speaker Biography<\/h4>

Professor Parikshit Goswami is the Head of Department of Fashion and Textiles, and Director of Technical Textiles Research Centre at the University of Huddersfield. Prior to joining the University of Huddersfield, Professor Goswami was the Director of Research and Innovation at the School of Design at the University of Leeds. He is a member of Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC), Education, Qualifications and Accreditation Board (EQAB), and a trustee of SDC. Professor Goswami is also the first academic to be appointed to the board of the UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT). He is also a member of the high-profile advisory board for Textiles 2030, a national agreement led by WRAP, that works with governments, businesses and individuals to ensure that the world\u2019s natural resources are used sustainably. Professor Goswami is a Freeman of the City of London and the Worshipful Company of Woolmen.<\/p><\/p>
