Speaker Biography
Glenn Patterson was born, and lives, in Belfast. He is the author of eleven novels and five works of non-fiction, most recently The Last Irish Question: Will 6 into 26 Ever Go? (Head of Zeus). He is the co-writer, with Colin Carberry, of Good Vibrations (BBC Films), which the pair later adapted for stage, and in 2016 he wrote the libretto for Long Story Short: the Belfast Opera, composed by Neil Martin. He has written and presented documentaries for television and radio, most recently The Northern Bank Job, a 10-part series for Radio 4 and BBC Sounds.
